    Hello again, Adam and Fotis.

Sorry for being persistent and making a follow-up on my concern :

    https://asimoveon673374429.wordpress.com/author/asimoveon0828/

When I log out of WordPress, and check my author archive page, my profile text is still missing.

I see only the word “Author”. (So sorry, but I do feel uncomfortable about this.)

I truly hope I could see my complete profile again soon when I’m logged out of WordPress.

  • Our developers are still looking into this: https://github.com/Automattic/themes/issues/1765

I’m sorry, but there’s no update at this time.

Hello again, James Huff, Fotis and Adam.

Perhaps I know what seems to be causing the problem about my profile text missing from my author archive page – when I’m logged out of WordPress.

My Gravatar hovercards aren’t on – when I mouse over my Gravatar to check out my profile. (But my “Avatar Display” in my settings is on.)

    What do you think ?

    -Ms. Charito

  • Hi there,

That’s not the problem, no. This is a bug with the theme, and our developers will need to fix it on our end.

Gravatar Hovercards refer to a little info box that appears above a Gravatar image when you hover your mouse over it, and that setting doesn’t affect whether or not your theme displays the Gravatar image in the first place .

    Oh, I see.

Well, thank you for reaching out to me, KokkieH.

Pardon me all for my impatience.

Thank you for bearing with me.

    Ms. Charito,

    My Gravatar hovercards aren’t on

Hi! I find that Hovercards is on, and working as it should, on your site. For example, hovering over your Gravatar in the author profile at the bottom of this post opens the “card,” which includes the following: 1) a larger thumbnail of the Gravatar profile image, your profile’s “About me” text, a “View Complete Profile” button (link to the profile page), and the option of turning off Hovercards.

If you’re not seeing the hovercards, then there might be a browser issue preventing the feature from working correctly for you.

my list in the previous post should have read as follows:

1.) a larger thumbnail of the Gravatar profile image, 2.) your profile’s “About me” text, 3.) a “View Complete Profile” button (link to the profile page), 4.) and the option of turning off Hovercards.
