  from one moment to the next my profile photo disappeared

  Since it happened for all of my blogs, I assumed that perhaps something had gone wrong with my gravatar, which is the same photo as on my blogs.

  Not much success.

  However, after about half an hour, the photo was back on again.

  Problem solved? In a way… but why did it happen in the first place?
