My profile ppicture
-
I tried to upload a picture to my profile, but there was no save button after I uploaded it. How do I insert a picture I upload if there’s no way of saving it? I get a message every time that the photo wasn’t saved. I don’t see any save button, just cancel, reset and change the picture. I tried all of them, but no use.

Hi there,
You should be able to go https://wordpress.com/me, click the profile picture, and upload your picture without having to save anything.
https://wordpress.com/support/manage-my-profile/#profile-photo
Is this what you are doing to add your profile photo?
Let me know, thanks!

I go there to profile, but when I click on the circle, then upload a picture, there’s no save button. I click change to just to get out of it, as the other options are reset and cancel. Then I get an error message that says it wasn’t saved. Each time it happens like that.

Hi there,
Can you upload your profile image to the media library here so we can take a closer look?
https://wordpress.com/media/storiesoftheratpatrol.wordpress.com
That will allow us to take a closer look and test from our end to see if we have the same issue, thanks!

Hi, Jerry! The picture I’m trying to use is in my media gallery as the last one uploaded. It shows a bare tree in the desert. I hope you can fix it. Thanks!

Hi again,
Thanks for that upload. I noticed that on your profile page the setting “Hide my Gravatar profile” is enabled, which prevents you from adding a profile image (we use Gravatar in our profiles on WordPress.com) out of curiosity did you have a profile image set previously , but opted to disable Gravatar? Or is this your first time setting a profile image?
Thanks for the additional info!

I switched the Hide Gravatar to ‘on’ and uploaded the picture again and it worked! Thanks!
