My public blog shows as private

I have checked the settings for my blog on numerous occasions and they are set to public. When I try to share on Facebook or with a friend, it shows as private. How can I make my posts private, for all the world to see?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

What blog are you referring to? The one that is connected with your name is empty, except for the default “Hello, world” post. I’m not sure what you would share on facebook if this is the blog you’re talking about, since there’s no content, so I don’t know what you’re trying to do.

Thanks for replying. I have two posts on this blog, so far. When I try to put a link on FB, it shows that this blog is private even though my settings show that it is public.

Yes, I see what you mean — I just tried to share it to my page (I would have cancelled posting), but I got the same privacy message.
Obviously, since I can see your blog, it’s not private. I don’t know what is going on. Perhaps someone else will have a solution for you! If no one does, contact support:
(BTW, the link in your name goes to “lorine” not “lori” — if you update the url to http://lorishields.wordpress.com/, then anyone who comes upon the thread or any future support issues can just click on your name without having to hunt for your url in a post. :-))

try setting the blog to Private then to block search engines then back to let everyone in. Maybe a bit got flipped out of sequence. Else the contact support is the only option.
