My Publish Button is Missing

    Some responded with what i am supposed to see when I try to publish something. I see nothing in the upper left hand corner where the Save button is supposed to be. I see a blue Save button in the lower right hand corner. When I click on the Save button in the lower right hand corner, the little gray circle this person sees appears to me for the first time. Then the Save button appears in the upper left hand corner for a nanosecond, then everything disappears again in that corner. Meanwhile for the same nanosecond, the blue button in the lower right hand corner says Publish instead of Save, but it goes back to Save so fast that I cannot connect with it. I read Word Press for Dummies for a week, and follow it religiously. When that said hit the Safe or Publish button, I couldn’t understand why I could not see a Publish button at all. I’ve tried everything in terms of clearing things out and changing browsers. The same problem applies to posts. I deleted what I wrote and tried a new page that just said under construction, but no matter what I do I can’t publish anything, which is sort of the point. There is no button or anything that I can do to get something published.

    I read Word Press for Dummies for a week, and follow it religiously.

    I tossed mine in the Trash because it was not focused on WordPress.COM and because it was outdated by the time it was published.

    By default the front page of the blog is the only page that will display all published posts on it. As soon as you publish a post not a page the error message will be gone. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
