my published posts are not showing up on the reader

Please help. I have just created a post and published it but when i go to the reader and enter in my tags, my post does not show! Iys showing up on my page but not for others to see under the tagline. I decreased tjhe amount of tags i used and still not showing. Checked privacy was set to public and it is. I havent posted for a long time and now i can’t post. Would appreciate some help please. Thankss

There is no information on the exact time it takes for the WordPress.com Reader to show your posts. It could heavily vary, but it’s almost instant most of the time.
Note that when you search by tag on the WordPress.com Reader, your post’s appearance is not guaranteed at the top. Especially when you search with a popular tag, or/and when you have followed many other blogs in that niche.

Also: @strikebuys usually the post will show up in the reader pretty quickly.
Typically if people aren’t showing in the reader it’s that they have too many topics (in the form of categories or tags) attached to the post. More than 15 total and it may not show up.
If you run into a case where:
– there are fewer than 15 tags+categories
– the site is not marked mature
– and it’s still not showing under the topics.
… just let us know; we can do some diagnostics here. But this one is showing. I try to check one of the more unique topics since the other topics may have hundreds of other posts to sift through first.
