My Purchased ‘premium site’ not showing on my account

    Hello
I have just created a website on WordPress and purchased a domain name. I got an email to verify and I completed that step. I was also directed to the site and added some details including my business logo and name etc.
However, I closed the window and now I am a bit lost – not knowing where to find this site to do some editing on it.

On the login page, I typed my email linked to the account and was sent an email containing link to my WordPress account. I pressed the link, got to the account but on the ‘My Site’ menu, I couldn’t see the site linked to the purchased domain name. I could only see the account and domain name ending in Wordpres.com

What’s worse, when I try to add the purchased domain name I was told the domain name was already taken, which is not true because I got an email confirmation of booking this domain earlier.

So, now that I have created the site and domain name, how do I reach my account so I can customize my site using the purchased domain name and ‘premium site’ account?

This is very confusing. Please help.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

Looks like you’re logged in on another WordPress.com account that doesn’t own any upgrades.

Can you please let us know your domain name so we can more effectively help you?

Thanks sending the domain. It was purchased through another WordPress.com account so please the following:

    1. Log out of mazaya202
    2. Clear your browser cache
    3. Clear WordPress.com cookies
    4. Log back in using the email address your purchase receipt was sent to or the username mwpsna123

Are you able to manage the site from the other account?

Thanks for the response. However, it seems this might be some bad news for me then!
The mwpsna123 is an old account that my daughter used to work with while at school. It seems this account remained logged in for such a long time on my device and when I attempted to create the WordPress premium site it was linked to that default account without me noticing.
Now that account is not usable and we don’t have access to its password as it used her old school-based email long a go.

Is there any chance that the site and domain name (alhilalalturkey.com) be retrieved and transferred to mazaya202 ? If not It would be like I wasted the money I paid for it.
    Hope you can still help

Sure thing, since you paid for it you can use your transaction ID to gain access to the account. Then you could transfer its upgrades over.

You can find the transaction ID here:
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/transaction-id/#if-you-dont-have-access-to-the-receipt

And then you’ll want to use it in this secure form to gain access to mwpsna123:

    Recover Your Account

Our account recovery staff will review your request and reach out to you to help you get logged in.

    Cheers!
