My question: The like button on posts

  My question: The like button is only to see in the Preview of my posts, later it has disappeared. I tried everything to solve this problem. Please your help. Thank you.. Paul

  But the problem is with all the posts in the category.

  I do:
  – edit post
  – enable button “show likes on this post”
  – update post
  – view post —— you can see the button “likes”
  – go to another page and go back — button is not there

  The Like button will only appear in the single post/page views, for example: http://ubudtaxibali.wordpress.com/2012/03/13/by-boat-to-java/

  I enabled the like-button at: Settings — sharing.
  Result:
  On all my pages and posts there is NO like-button.

  Posts: only: “share” and “leave a comment”.
  Pages: only “share”

  If you click “leave a comment” you will see the like-button, but later the like-button has disappeared.

  Please a solution.

  It won’t appear anywhere else.

  It also won’t appear on pages, sorry about the mistake earlier.

  Dear Macmanx,

  Whatever I do, there is NO like-button on all of my single posts.
  Only: “leave a comment”. If you click this button, you see the like-button, but later it disappeared again.

  Please help, because the like-button is very usefull.

  I took a look and everything seems to be working properly. Can you please try clearing out your cache? Do you also encounter this issue in a different browser? for example Firefox or Google Chrome?

  No, I am sorry for the inconvience !
  I cleaned my computer, and made a new post using Google Chrome and Firefox.
  Result:
  – make post, click view page — there is the like-button, BUT
  – go to other post and back: like-button is not there, but “leave a comment”.
  – if you click the “leave a comment” button, you see the like-button, but later like-button again disappeared.

  It will not appear on other views, like http://ubudtaxibali.wordpress.com/category/what-to-do-and-to-see-on-bali/ (this is a category listing) or http://ubudtaxibali.wordpress.com/ (this is the front page).

  The last days I tried with help of other people (and on a different computer) again,
  but there is NO Like button on my single posts.
  We don’t know why.

  Scroll down just below the post. You’ll see “Share this:” with a bunch of share buttons and “Like this:” with a Like button.
