My readers are hoping I can add a question and answer section to my blog

  I am relatively new to blogging and my readers are asking for a Q&A section. I would like to moderate the questions and then answer the questions I select. I was thinking of doing a seperate blog, where people can just ask questions (which I moderate) and then answer, liking that as a headline, on my current blog.

  I guess I just don’t know where to begin and need some direction.

  Well, I would definitely do this via the Comments section of a post or page. You can do this on your own blog, but your moderation settings will affect the entire blog.

  I suppose the best way would be to open a new blog with just a Q and A page, then set all comments to go through moderation.

  How do I place it in a prominent position on the original page if I set it up as a seperate blog? I would like it as the top widget. What widget would I use?

  I would add it as a Custom Link to your menu via Appearance -> Menus in your blog’s Dashboard.
