My replies don't post
-
I have replied to 2 blog’s from a blogger but they don’t post. The blogger or myself doesn’t see my replies. If I repost my reply, I get the following message : Duplicate comment detected; it looks as though you’ve already said that!
Suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks for the URLs. Normally that error message appears only when we post the same comment more than once.
When we need Staff help with issues Volunteers cannot resolve like this one we type modlook into the sidebar tags on our forum threads. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question Then we subscribe to this thread so we are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it.

Hi timethief,
when you wrote: “we type modlook into the sidebar tags on our forum threads” I take it that is referring to you having done that. I believe I had subscribed to this forum topic when I posted it and see that the side bar says “Unsubscribe from Topic” so I don’t think I need to do anything at this point. It’s my understanding that I’m now waiting for a Moderator to respond.

It’s working now!! Two things took place:
1. I told the blogger that I saw a statement in WordPress that the blogger controls what is displayed in the comments and maybe it was something in her settings. She replied that she changed something in the settings and try again.
2. I had to create an account to post on the Forum. When I tried a test comments post, which worked, after I entered my email address in the comments form, I was prompted to log in which I did.So I don’t know if it works now because of 1 or 2 above. I didn’t think that a person needs an account to post a comment.
