My revised version will not show correctly, only a prior one :(

When returning to my blog, half my work was gone. At the bottom I found two “revised” copies, and assumed those were m changes, but when trying to access them all I got was some garbled text
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello there,
I took a look at your latest revision for your latest post. I see some HTML code as well as your content. So, the text isn’t garbled, but clearly it isn’t all the content you’re expecting to see.
Can you please confirm that you saved the changes you made to your draft? That you didn’t leave the page before saving the draft?
Could you tell me (in general) what is missing? Text/images/etc? It would help me to know what you’re looking for, as I’m troubleshooting the issue.
Final question for now: Could you let me know if you were using the classic version of the editor, or the new one? If you’re not sure, here’s the difference:
CLASSIC

Hi thatrobyn,Thanks for the quick reply. I typically save changes, or after any text I write before exiting. I might have left the page before saving, although I’ve been burned on that before, so do wait before closing the window.
Added text included a question from previous blog (=posted): SO WHAT ARE SOME EXAMPLES OF HOW NATIONAL DEBT AFFECTS US ECONOMICALLY.
1. It is not a lot of text, but I want to know what to do with the two revision lines at the bottom of the page, should I need to re-enter my content?
2. Can I still use the “current” draft as it is?
3. Not saving changes and leaving the page too early are good reminders for the future. Thanks, Bert Rinkel

Hello there, Bert!
Thank you so much for the details in the situation.
Sadly, it looks as if those revision lines were not saved. So, to answer your questions:
1. It is not a lot of text, but I want to know what to do with the two revision lines at the bottom of the page, should I need to re-enter my content?
Yes, please. Add those two lines, and then either save or publish your post.
2. Can I still use the “current” draft as it is?
Absolutely. Feel free to add to it, or edit it, or publish as-is.
3. Not saving changes and leaving the page too early are good reminders for the future.
I’ve been there, and have experienced the same thing. Not fun. But, I’m glad it was just a couple lines of text, and easily replaceable.
Thank you again. If I can do anything else to help, please do drop me a note. All the best to you!

Hello again,
If you’re referring to the revisions listed in the Post editor, you don’t have to touch those. A revision is kept whenever you click Save. However, nothing need be done with them.
Thanks again!
