My RSS feed is slow!

I am using Google Reader for viewing RSS feeds and I have subscribed to my own feed (not to improve any stats, but to see if it works). The post I made around 9:20 am this morning still has not shown up in my reader (it is almost 3pm now). Is this typical for RSS feeds – an (almost) 6 hour delay between posting and showing up in a feed reader? If not, what are some things that I can do to speed this process up? Thanks!

No. Mine are showing up instantly, but I’m using another reader. I personally haven’t used google reader in ages.
Have you tried refreshing it? Are you sure you’re using the correct feed url which is http://yourblogname.wordpress.com/feed/

Okay, they showed up now (4 posts at once), but the first post, which on my blog I posted says 9:21 am, says was posted at 3:02pm. I supposed it could be Google Reader (I haven’t used Bloglines in months), but other sites content seems to show up in a timely fashion.
