My save draft on my blog has just disappeared again.

Sorry to bother, but my “save drafts” icon has just disappeared again. The only thing I can do is publish and I don’t want to publish these things yet. I wanted to get them all done before publishing them. I’ve been using the drafts until then. But, for some unknown reason it just disappeared today, just as the icons on my iphone – to be able to send out mail and reply to mail – did today. Could someone take a look at my blog and help me out a bit. I do not know how to get the draft icon back up there. Thank you so much and God bless you.

Is there any way I can possibly get some help? My blog does not have the “Update” on my posts. I’ve been working on devotionals on there and just suddenly, today, the “Update” disappeared. Can someone possibly please help me?

I need to clarify what is happening:
The “Update” on the posts I am now working on has vanished. This has happened before. I do not want to publish these things as yet, I was trying to finish the devotionals before publishing them. But I can not work on it w/o the “Update.” Please, will someone help me. Thank you and God bless you. -
Actually, there is no “Update” on any of my posts. And sometimes when I pull up my recent posts that I’ve just completed, the body is blank. I’ll log out of it and when I go back, the content is then there. It’s just really weird, that’s all. Sorry for the inconvenience, I needed to clarify everything so you would know the full of things.

By the way, I don’t expect anyone on here to help with my iphone:>/ I realized this is a support for wordpress blogs, and I am humbly grateful to the volunteers here. I appreciate all the hard work you all do here. I won’t bother any more. I need to tend to my 7 mth old. Thank you again for all you do.

Timethief is a volunteer. There’s a known bug which causes some newly published posts to be blank, and you can see related threads on this forum tag https://en.forums.wordpress.com/tags/missing-post
As for not having the Save Draft option, what browser and version are you using?

The disappearance of the body inside a post only happened once. It is the “Update” on my posts; While working on the devotionals I’m working on I can’t update them to save them to “all posts.” I can only “Publish” them. I’m not to that point yet. THey’ve gone in and fixed this problem before; the same day. It seemed to be something simple that they just had to do. I can’t ‘Save’ my posts with the ‘Update’. Like I said, it happened before and they went in and fixed the problem. I have Safari.
I’m so sorry I don’t know where to find out what version I’m running.
I believe you mean, Mac OS X version 10.6.8 -
I suggest that until staff fixes this, you use an offline blog editor like Windows Live Writer or Ecto.

I have microsoft word. I do not have an offline blog. But I’m working them up to date on my wordpress.com blog. That’s what I paid for it for. To work them up like this. I’ve been working on these for a very a long time and am almost done with them. I don’t know what Live Writer is, do not have access to windows, and I’ve never heard of Ecto, and can not start on another one of these when everything inside this book has been printed out on wordpress. There are 75, and I have 24 left. There has been much time and hard work put in on these. I realize this is not your problem, nor fault, and appreciate all you’ve done. I’ll just put quit it. I’ll take them off and just put it down. I’m thinking about going into criminology anyway. I was just praying by God’s miraculous grace that some how this might be easily fixed like it has been done 2-3 times before. I truly thought you could fix it as easily as it was done the last few times. Thank you for your time and advice. I wished I were more computer literate like you, but I am not. It took everything I didn’t have in the way of courage to take a step out and get this blog going; It took Total Grace. I have no knowledge of what you’re suggesting nor why. I’m so sorry, I wished I did, but the truth is, I don’t. Thank you again for your help and all your hard work. May God bless you.

Why do I need to go through all of that and transfer all my work over, when I have purchased in full the rights to wordpress.com? Am I really receiving this given information right, after purchasing a blog site? The reason I’m doing this on wordpress.com is because I would like to publish them online. That is what wordpress.com is used for.
I am very confused at your suggestions and find them rather odd. Is there a reason why you would rather me get an offline blog? I know you say I can save as many drafts as I like there and lose none. But, I’ve not had that many problems with WordPress.com and I’ve worked very hard on it. As I said, ‘This’ minor problem was fixed in the same day of the reported error. You’re telling me that WP is not working properly for you. I gave you something that would fix that. It’s up to you to use it. The reason I recommended it for you is that it’s easy to use; you will see once you download it that it works just like Word, only it connects to your blog to publish things when you want them published. It is not too hard for you, trust me.
