My "scroll down" button does not seem to work in Libretto theme
-
I’m using Libretto, and have chosen the “scroll down” option (not infinite scrolling) because I want some footers at the bottom.
But the scroll down button doesn’t seem to work. Please help.

Hi @joannafunk,
Provided that you have the Scroll Infinitely in Settings → Reading checked, you may need to remove your footer widget.

Hey, I think I read your post wrong. Are you saying that clicking Older Posts isn’t working for you?

Your Older Posts button is working fine. So it may be a problem with your browser.
Could you try the following things and see if you still face the problem:
1. Clearing your browser cache: https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache
2. Disable browser extensions. This depends on the browser. For
Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-modeFor Chrome and Internet Explorer the steps are a bit complex. So I suggest you try in Firefox first.

I cleared my browser cacher (Chrome) but no improvement. But that’s only on my laptop.
On my phone the “Older Posts” button works fine, and that’s on data AND using the same Wi-Fi as the laptop.Sounds like other readers can use the Older Posts button, even if I can’t on the laptop., which is good.

Hi @joannafunk, I just checked in Chrome on my Mac and can use the Older Posts button just fine. Do you by chance have any script blocking extensions installed? If so, that could be the issue.
It may also be a browser extension. You might want to turn them off, if you have any, and restart Chrome and see if the button works. If it does, turn the extensions back on one at a time to see which is causing the issue.
