My shares aren't showing

  It seems like all the shares since yesterday have been wiped from the system and they aren’t showing the number at the bottom of the posts anymore. What could be the issue?

  Hi there,

  Could it be since you added your new domain? The various Social Media systems keep track of shares via the URL of the article which has been shared. If you change the URL (by adding a domain, for example), then the number of times which it has been shared gets reset to 0.

  Unfortunately the only thing which can really be done to get the tally of your shares back would be to remove your domain name. There’s no way to retroactively re-add them to your posts.

  Ah that could be what it is. Boo! It’s better to have my domain, but that’s still kind of lame.
  Ah well, back to the drawing board I suppose. :)
