my shortcodes don't work well

  I really don’t understand why my pages set with short codes don’t work.
  I have three pages (travel stories, tips and guides, photo challenges), each one set with this shortcode
  [display-posts category="category" image_size="thumbnail"]
  but then the pages do show the right posts, but only thumbnails from some of them.
  Only the “tips and guides” page show properly all the four posts.
  It doesn’t depend on my PC because I tried also with my friend’s.
  Does anyone know how to fix it?
