My side bars disappear
-
The side bars appear OK on my blog http://completegarden.wordpress.com
But if I search for Blogs, for example my blog on courgette flowers the side bars disappear! http://completegarden.wordpress.com/2008/08/18/courgette-how-to-identify-male-and-female-flowers/I want my side bars to appear so that readers can see that I have tomato flower identification and other posts that they might find of interest.
Have you any advice ow to recify this?
Spelling is not my forte and some of my earlier posts were written in Word and pasted in to my blog. I gather that this is a no no – What can us dislexic guys do to get around spell check?
I might not be able to read any replies (this is my first frum comment so maybe you ca also send me an email (email visible only to moderators and staff)
Your help will be much appreciated
Best wishes

The theme you are using does not show the sidebars on the post pages. If you want the sidebars to be shown, chose another theme.

It’s a bit confusing as the sidebars are there on the blog that I add my posts to, so how do I know which blog theme to choose from that will keep my sidebars.
Thank you for the tip though. -
Use the theme preview in your dashboard at design > themes and click on the title of a post.

The Theme I’m using at the moment is Kubrick by Michael Heileman
It has Tags, two columns, fixed width, custom header. This looks like just the sort of simple design I require. I add images and garden related info that I hope peple will find useful.
As I mentioned, when I add my new posts I can see the Kubrick layout with the sidebarsIt’s when I look for my blog post on Google or Yahoo that the side bars have gone and my post layout is in the middle of the page without the sidebar = not what I want.
What Theme will allow me to keep the layout that I require, as it’s confusing why it the layout changes on Gogle and Yahoo.

I tried to see what other Themes would look like.
Now the original Kubrick layout of my blog is looking a real mess with the sidebare at the bottom of the page and the posts I’ve written have text spreading untidily over the edges of page.

What on earth is going on this is frustrating.
Any ideas how I can rectify this situation?

You really need to familiarize yourself with the FAQ.

Thank you for this.
Now I understand the reason for us not using a Word document.
I have managed to tidy up the page but still having a few problems wich I hope to sort out.
You help was much appreciated
