  Hi after I upgraded to my own domain name. Why did my sidebar disappear??
  I had to rebuild it all over again. Thanks.

  Hi there,

  It wasn’t the adding of your domain name that removed your sidebar, it was the fact that you changed your theme at the same time. When you change themes your sidebars will almost always be cleared and you have to re-add widgets. This is because most themes have different sidebar configurations and so with each change the sidebars need to be reconfigured.

  Hi thanks for your answer. I didn’t change my theme I continued to use ‘Brand New Day’. What must have triggered that sidebar configuration was when I was prompted to choose theme again after registering my domain, I clicked the same theme again. Thanks for your help.
