my sidebar moved!

  From the beginnig I’ve been using Mistylook 3.1, with its right side bar and suddenly this side bar moved from its right position to the end of the blog, just under the first post, following the main column!

  Why?? How can I fix it?

  What is the URL for your blog here at wordpress.com? We can’t help if we can’t get to your blog.

  To link your username to your blog, go to “view your profile” at the top right of the forum page, then click edit and enter your blog URL in the “website” field and then click “update profile.”

  Generally when this happens it is because something in your post area is too wide (an image typically) and it forces the widgets in the sidebar down below.

  To resize an image, edit the post, click on the image (in the visual text editor), then grab one of the corner handles on the image and make it smaller. As long as you use one of the corner handles it will keep the height-width aspect ratio and not distort your image.

  I tried to narrow all my posts. They seem OK when I check them one by one (the sidebar properly appears at right on each page) but nothing has changed from the main column of the blog.

  I cannot understand why. If the room is OK seperately why doesn’t the home page follow??

  I think at this point we’re going to have to wait for someone with more code experience to look at your blog and see what’s wrong. Hopefully tomorrow morning someone will take a look at it.

  the problem may be that the images you have in your sidebar are too wide, the ones in the text widget entitled “La team Escargoth”. Try making them smaller and see what happens.

  I deleted my posts one by one until I find the one that causes all this mess. Therefore, I kinda resolved my problem though I will never understand if the lack of room is was in cause.

  Others have pointed out the sidebar space image limitations. It may also be useful to know the maximum space limits of the bogging spaces for the themes http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/09/25/how-big-can-my-images-be/
  Lastly it may be useful to know the free space maximums. Images and other files are currently limited to 50MB in total. http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/11/11/upload-space/
