  There is a large banner ad that appears when you open up my site and every time you click on a different link on my page the ad pops up and changes. It is at the very top of the screen and large enough to block the logo at the top of my blog when it opens. Is this a wordpress norm or has my page been hacked somehow?

  Hi @rajjae ,

  I just checked your site with a desktop and with a phone. The only banner ad I encountered was a sign-up link for exclusive content. Is this the banner ad you are talking about, or something else?

  If you are using the Free Plan with WordPress.com, then some of your viewers will see WordPress.com advertising and banners. This feature is listed on the bottom of the Free Plan description on the pricing page. These will be removed if you upgrade your plan. Are the banners you are seeing from WordPress.com or Automattic (The company operating WordPress.com)?

  If what you are seeing is yet another type of banner, then we should get staff to check it out. For the moment, let us know if this information helps you.
