  I’ve been searching for my website on my laptop, and my site’s not coming up

  Hi there,

  If you mean in ‘Google Search’, that has to be set up and it takes a bit of time to register in the search engines (don’t forget to pin to pinterest also, as that is one of the best search engines these days). The above link will step you through the basics of setting that up.

  It may look more difficult than it is, but remember that first up, you can just ‘google search’ webmaster tools.. and if you are signed into google, it should be an easy enough process.. there are more tips within https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/

  The WordPress reader is the other ‘thing’ to think about, for example no more than 15 tags and categories are permissible in order to be found, otherwise your posts will not show up in the Reader.

  Don’t forget you can search for virtually anything at the support section, and I’ve added some more links below for you. (also, I find that sometimes I can find something quicker by putting the search ‘phrase’ in at the browser eg: ‘wordpress.com how can I optimize my website for search engines’ and it will show many links to wordpress forum topics.. :)
