My site asks me to re-log in after I've already logged in.

    Hi all.

I’ve got a domain listed under wordpress and I’m pretty sure my premium hasn’t expired as it says its valid until may. However, under the “my sites” menu, it says that I need to upgrade it to jetpack 3.3, and when i try to do so it redirects me to the log in page again, and after retyping my email and password it says “invalid login”, even though i’ve already logged on in the first place.

Could any one explain this to me?

    cheers!

  • Hi there. I’m afraid we can’t help you with Jetpack issues or with problems on a self-hosted blog in this forum. Yes, you use your WordPress.com username to manage your blog from the WordPress.com dashboard via Jetpack, but your actual blog is not hosted here, so the support docs here are not relevant to your site, nor does staff here have access to your site’s dashboard to help you sort this out. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and different: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

For help with logging in to your site directly, please post in the WordPress.org forum: http://wordpress.org/support/ If you don’t already have a username on that forum, click the register button in the upper right corner so you can post in that forum. You can also try contacting Bluehost.com who are hosting your site.

For help with Jetpack specifically, you can try the Jetpack support pages, or the Jetpack subforum on WordPress.org: http://jetpack.me/support/
