My site cannot connect to WP.com

  Your website needs to be publicly accessible to use Jetpack: site_inaccessible

  Error Details: The Jetpack server was unable to communicate with your site [IXR -32300].

  This is for site http://www.nwpres.org, but that isn’t an option below so I just picked one of the two available to me.

  Would you mind deactivating all other plugins, then try connecting Jetpack again?

  Ok, the next thing would be to rule-out a theme conflict.

  Would you please temporarily activate the Twenty Eleven theme which you attempt to activate Jetpack?

  Hm, ok then. Would you mind asking your hosting provider if they’re blocking connections to xmlrpc.php?

  They are not, hosting on MediaTemple gs (Grid Service).

  What version of WordPress are you running, and what version of Jetpack?
