  westphalchevyblog.com hosted through wordpress. I created it in wordpress so im guessing they hosted it, right?

  Thanks for that. Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com but instead a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org ) but hosted elsewhere.

  We cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. But, I can get you pointed in the right direction.

  To clear up any confusion, there’s three different “WordPress” at play here:

  1. The free, open-source WordPress software which powers your website.
  2. WordPress.org which is the open-source project that works on the WordPress software and where you can get the software for free to use on your own hosting provider.
  3. WordPress.com which is a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software.

  You’re posting in the free support forums for sites hosted here at WordPress.com, and your hosting provider appears to be GoDaddy.

  You should reach out to GoDaddy support to see why your site is no longer online – it might be that your hosting plan expired or some other issue. Since they’re hosting your site’s files, they also have access to those files and are the best ones to help you sort this out.
