My site disappeared

    I am so confused. I added my domain that I purchased years ago to rebuild my site using wordpress. I got new hosting through eHost. I purchased Elegant Themes and used Divi builder to build my site. I just finished earlier this week. Completely finished from top to bottom. Loved it. Yesterday went to it to see something and it was working fine. Today I went to the site and it is gone. Logged into cPanel and it has disappeared from there. Logged into WordPress and it’s gone. How can this happen? And who’s fault is it? I did everything right.
    The host said they have a back up and (I don’t know if it is a finished version) and will restore from that. Wanted to charge me for it.
    Please please please help me! I don’t know how long it will take them to restore but once it is up I can’t have this happen again! Any advice would be amazing!! HELP!!
