My site does not open properly

    I have added a new site – thetravelinis7.wordpress.com. I have published one post but when I go to open it the post does not appear. Somehow or other I am able to get to it and can edit it or whatever, but when I go to it initially, the post does not appear. Someone would not be able to acces my posts. I don’t know what I have done wrong.

    Hi,

    I find the post of October 15 visible on the homepage of the site, and on the single post https://thetravelinis7.wordpress.com/2016/10/15/texas-days-12-3/. When opening either the homepage or the post, there is a brief delay before the content displays in each case. I suspect that this delay, and the issue that you report, are due to the total volume of the post’s content, which includes well over 100 images. I didn’t find any images of particularly large size among those I checked, but the combined effect of that many images, with numerous small galleries included, might be enough to slow down the loading time, or even prevent its completing the loading process on some devices.

    If you seek a more definitive answer, then I’d suggest that you add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar of this topic to call for staff attention.
