If you want to connect your GoDaddy domain to the wordpress.com platform, you must buy a paid plan together with a domain connection.

However if your domain at Godaddy includes hosting, you don’t need wordpress.com. Instead you must install the open source wordpress.org included in their WordPress Plan.

the thing is I have already bought a paid plan with WP, and still it does not work.

Is there any way to speak to WP customer support directly?

    Hi,

I can see that you’ve connected the domain malabico.com.au to your WordPress.com site, but the connection is not complete yet.

I can see that the domain is still using GoDaddy nameservers.

To complete the connection process, you’ll need to log into your GoDaddy account and update the nameservers to the WordPress.com ones:

    ns1.wordpress.com
    ns2.wordpress.com
    ns3.wordpress.com

Here is the GoDaddy doc about changing nameservers: https://www.godaddy.com/help/change-nameservers-for-my-domains-664

Once the domain has the WordPress.com nameservers, it’ll start to load your WordPress.com content.

For more info regarding this process, here is our support doc about connecting a domain using nameservers:

    Hi there,

Your site is loading fine on my end, and malabico.com.au is indeed the primary domain. If you’re still not being able to view your site, I recommend clearing your browser’s cache and try again. Here’s how to do that: https://wordpress.com/support/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache

If this doesn’t work or you have more questions, just let me know and I’ll be happy to help!
