My site hacked – bad malware
-
Hello,
My website has been hacked: http://www.hannahjonesstudio.com and the host has limited access to it because of the malware.
A friend helped me delete the malicious code from the code but it keeps reappearing afterwards so it must be a deeper/different problem.
Is it possible to perform a clean install of WordPress and redoing the website instead of having to pay loads on a cleanup service?
Many thanks,

Hi hannahjonesstudio,
Your website http://www.hannahjonesstudio.com is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is hosted with Siteground.
We’re able to help only with websites hosted on WordPress.com.
To clear up any confusion, there are 2 versions of WordPress. WordPress.com is a managed environment different from using the open source WordPress installation.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two, different entities.

Just to answer your question: Yes you can re-install WordPress on Siteground and redo the entire website.
If you need further help, do post in the WordPress.org forum
You’ll need a free WordPress.org account to post – if you don’t already have one, you can register here: https://wordpress.org/support/register.php

Hannah, if you haven’t already, contact Siteground. They should be able to look back and restore your site from their backups before the malware injection.
