My site has been hacked.

    I urgently need assistance as I believe my site has been hacked. My sites activity shows a list of activities over the last few days that I have not done. It shows my site address being set to multiple unknown urls. I cannot access the dashboard to do anything with my site as it redirects. it is showing an error when I attempt to. My site timezone is also set to Abidjan, which i didnt do.
    Please help.

    I’m very new to this, so i’m really trying everywhere to find the answers. My hosting provider is Heart Internet (I don’t even know if that is what you mean, I don’t even know the terminology).

    I have messaged them and I was told that they were ‘able to find plenty of suspicious files and they were mostly in your plugins folder.
    However, I am unable to guarantee if they are compromised or not. ‘

    If I am in the wrong forum then I will try the link. But right now, I just want to put my site in maintenance mode until I can fix it but my link to the dashboard takes me to a pastebin url thats a white screen with a load of random text.

    If you could please point me in the right direction, i would really appreciate it.

    Thanks for the link. neenbeans.co.uk is a WordPress.org site hosted by Heart Internet (rather than WordPress.com):

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

    WordPress.org is the self hosted version of WordPress and is separate from WordPress.com because it is installed on a third party host. Since the site isn’t hosted here, I’m unable to take a closer look at the files you are referring to.

    If Heart Internet haven’t been able to offer an advice, the WordPress.org support forums will be the best place to post for help:
