My site has been removed WHY?
-
Our site has been removed from the net stating that it does not comply with wordpress.com agreements.
We have been running for FOUR years, and nothing has changed over that time, and to be shut down without any notice is absurd. We make no funds whatsoever from the site, and carry NO ADVERTIZING and or and have NO affiliate program LINKS ON THE SITE.
The site is NOT a self-generated site, and has been successfully run since 2007 without interruption.
Please do check your records again, and an apology would be welcomed, as we have had several publishers contact us today asking what happened to our site.
One, Ubisoft, leading games publisher, had placed a link to our sit eon their Facebook page.

That doesn’t do any good. Staff don’t really read the forums, and volunteers here can do nothing about this issue.
If you want to communicate with staff, use the button they provided on your dashboard.
-
Thanks, but usually there’s a level of communication through email before WP.com even do anything, I received NOTHING whatsoever form WP at all, just desperate emails and phone calls from the guys and girls working as writers on the site.
Is there a way you can also let support know that there’s an issue please, I know I’ve seen you do it before in the forums with other website members. That would be most helpful, and most appreciated indeed.

I dont’ have any more power than you do; you can add the Modlook tag yourself if you want, but I’ll do it.
If you’re suspended you MUST contact staff via that link on the dashboard in order to be reviewed again. I’ve done it myself. I’ve also seen someone post literally HUNDREDS of posts in the forum and the answer was the same: contact staff via that link.
-
do you get the same visual that I do, ie, no submit button once you type in your issue???
-
No, not the big normal Help button. They should have left a note on your dashboard main page with a big link saying CONTACT US VIA THIS LINK to resolve the situation. Do you not have that?
-
At the top of your dashboard for that site when you log in, there should be a very big red warning telling you to contact staff and a link is provided right in that warning. That will go directly to the TOS department.
-
-
You are welcome and I’m sure staff will work with you on it, and it could even be that it was a misunderstanding or a mistake.
-
there’s 2 condition
first the system filter doing false detect about breaking the TOS
second is you break the TOSfor the first you can bring it back by contact WP.com support and explain what happen
for the second one, you could say bye bye -
The second is not bye bye necessarily. If what triggered the TOS violation is removed then staff will typically give the sites back. If the site owner does not want to remove it or feels it is necessary for them, then they can move elsewhere or self-host a wordpress site on a third-party hosting service.
