my site has disappeared

    Please help. I changed my site name and everything has disappeared. I following these instructions. http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/#instructions-for-changing-your-blog-address

    I thought i was simply changing the name of the site from uk vintage chic to unique vintage chic but keeping the url ukvintagechic.com

    Can i get my site back?

    Howdy,

    Your site at http://ukvintagechic.com/ is loading for me. When making a change like that, it can take a little time for it to be effective everywhere, and likely, your browser was storing a bit of the old information (to help keep things speedy).

    Can you check again and, if it is still not displaying, clear your browser’s cache?

    Hi, ok I hadnt realised it would take time to sort itself out. It does appear to be loading now although some photos seem to be missing. Ill clear the cache.

    I posted another question to support that hasn’t been answered yet – desperate to get it sorted, would you be able to help me?

    I would like to move unique vintage chic under the account of my other blog unique so chic (Unique So Chic would be the primary blog) so that i have just 1 email address.

    I’m happy to help with that. I don’t see another ticket submitted by your user account, so someone may respond to that one in the meantime. If so, please let one of us know so we don’t both start working with you :-).

    I can transfer ownership of your blog to another account. Please note that the owner of the blog has full rights over the blog, including the ability to delete the blog. Also, since you have a domain name associated with the account, the new owner would gain all legal rights to the domain. In short, this account would not have control any longer.

    Since this is to just another one of your accounts, all of that is probably fine, but wanted to post the disclaimer to be safe!

    Which account would you like me to transfer your blog to?

    Hi, Kevmarsden just sent me instruction to transfer the blog, i wished id waited for you to do it for me though as when i followed the guide, it said “i have an upgrade and support would need to be contacted” .

    I want this account transferring to my other blog unique so chic (which would be the prime user)

    Both blogs are mine anyway so no problem there, Im unsure whats happening at this point.

    Thank you but i must have messed up with the instructions, all the posts from unique vintage chic are now on unique so chic…oh dear! hope you can both help sort me out.
