My Site has disappeared
-
Word Press: My login remains and if I independently search the web I can find blog postings from my site, but I no longer have a “Site”–all is empty. A few weeks ago I received a “like” for a post, and when I checked the sender, it went to porn ads–malware? I have no idea what to do next. I’m sorry to lose years of work. Can you help?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

See original post–URL is there. When you click on the link up there, the blog shows up; but my administrator privileges and other tools are not recognized. The whole site is a blank from an admin perspective.

Hi there,
Your site isn’t missing. It loads fine if I go to https://missoshow.wordpress.com/ in my browser, and all the posts you’ve published on the site is visible there.
It’s just the dashboard that isn’t loading, and it’s only not loading for you – it’s working fine on my end, so it just sounds like your browser isn’t loading all the code WordPress.com needs to work.
Please try clearing your browser cache, and also disable any browser add-ons you might have installed.
If that doesn’t work, see if it helps if you log in using incognito mode, a different browser, or another internet connection. Let me know the result.
If you suspect your computer might have been infected with malware, make sure to run a virus scan ASAP – you can use Windows Defender that comes built into Windows for that. Also download Malwarebytes and use that to specifically scan for malware on your computer. But the issue you describe is a browser problem, and not due to any malware on your site itself.

Dear Staff Person,
Thank you SO much for taking the time to respond.
For whatever reason, I cannot access my admin on Google Chrome, but was able to retrieve it just fine on another browser, as you suggested.
I’m relieved to know I can still find my work and write again here.
Thanks for this site and this opportunity to create and read what others are thinking.
Sincerely,
Miss O’ Show -
