My site has disappeared

  I renewed my domain in Sept/2021. In Nov 2021 I moved my site to Bluehost. I can no longer find my website so I can migrate all content. WordPress.com tells me I have no site but shows that I have been paying since 2012. There are many years of content. Please help as Bluehost says it’s a WordPress.com issue.

  We have no history of domains, sites, purchases, transactions, or billing activity of any kind under the account you’re currently logged into.

  What is the domain name you’re referring to?

  It’s phyllisalberici.com. It’s now hosted by Bluehost due to additional fees on WordPress.com. BUT I paid for a renewal in Sept 19, 2021to WordPress.com. That was $18: domain connection: $13 and domain registration: $5 for one year. The Paypal transaction code is [REDACTED]

  I was able to find the EPP code to migrate but the migration did not happen because whoever hosts the domain connection or domain registration is unknown to me. The EPP code is [REDACTED]

  I’ve been a WordPress subscriber since Oct 2011 with the mentioned address (phyllisalberici.com) and two others I have not used: dispatchesfromeden and coffeeblogic.

  Bluehost told me that if I can find the place that held the domain name then the site can be migrated. I failed to write the name down but I believe it was someplace in Virginia. Had I known it would be such a mess…

  Also the Designated Agent is what I am referring to. So the question is: who is the Designated Agent for my account? Not just the location but the actual name and contact.

  Please be aware you are posting to a public support forum and posting information like transaction IDs and EPP codes can be used by others to impersonate you and take over your accounts. I’ve removed them from this post.

  Your domain phyllisalberici.com was tied to the WordPress.com account dispatchesfromeden and the domain transfer out of WordPress.com was initiated on November 13, 2021 and the transfer to Bluehost was completed on November 23, 2021.

  Since this domain is no longer registered with WordPress.com, you will need to contact Bluehost to set that up for your new hosting account with them.

  Regarding your content, it can still be found at your free WordPress.com URL: https://phyllisalberici.wordpress.com/

  I forgot to add: you need to run the export while logged in as dispatchesfromeden as that’s the account that owns the site phyllisalberici.wordpress.com.
