My site has disappeared

I could not write a blog post and it seemed I needed to update WordPress. When I did that, my entire site disappeared. I have automatic backups set on Hostinger, but it doesn’t give me the option to restore my site (button is greyed out) only download files. I downloaded the files but they are 450 mb and I can only then upload 250 mb worth of files to restore my site.

Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Hostinger.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. It was also not using our backup product https://jetpack.com/upgrade/backup/ so we are unable to directly assist with this.
https://wordpress.org/support/ is a great resource for sites using the open source WordPress.org software, and you can find support for that at: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
With that said, I recommend continuing to ask Hostinger to help you with this, as they may have their own backup of your account with them: https://support.hostinger.com/en
If they refuse to, you’re welcome to start a new site with us via https://wordpress.com/start where you’ll at least be able to copy and paste from an archived copy, like https://web.archive.org/web/20220310111645/https://robinthinks.com/

Thanks, I have contacted Hostinger support. I figured out the restore button was greyed out because I had not actually selected a file to restore. Since there was only one, I didn’t realize I still need to select it. Unfortunately, that still did not restore my site, so I’m still working on it. I will work with Hostinger though. Thanks!
