My site has malware

    For the last 22 days, my site, elijahconsulting.com, has been down with malware. The people I host with don’t seem to be doing much about it, if at all. I am thinking of moving, to having the site hosted by WordPress. Can you advise, please?

    I am sorry to hear your site has been compromised; that can be very frustrating. There are some big differences between WordPress.com and the self-hosted version of WordPress (WordPress.org). I would recommend taking a look at this list of these differences and see if there is anything you wouldn’t be able to give up by switching to WordPress.com:

    In the meantime, since your current site is not hosted by WordPress.com, you could open a thread at WordPress.org support for some guidance on how to get the site cleaned up.
