My site in edit and my site in preview are not the same colors

Hi! When I edit my home page and change the colors in the theme I can see the colors that I have chosen. I clicked on save, but when I preview the site or even visit the site the background and text colors are completely different. It has all the right text and pictures but the colours are all wrong. Can you help? Thanks.

I know there’s an option that lets you preview an upgrade that gives you Global Styles tools. Is there a chance you’re seeing that? If you are, you should also see a message in the style editor saying those styles will apply when you buy a Premium Plan. If you’re ready for that, you can upgrade here:

Most of the themes released recently require this facility.
Is there a site out there you like the look of? Perhaps I can offer some theme guidance. Also, do you have any plans or ideas regarding functionality?
The reason why I ask the second question, is that, understandably, you want to keep costs to a minimum, but if you do have to make a purchase, it’s best to kill as many birds with as little stones. :)
