This is all messed up ! I need to revise my pages to an earlier date. I don’t understand any of this new BLOCK stuff. Please help !

This is what I used to follow to revise and restore….
Open in ADMIN and check Revisions… but then what ?
Go to my site input and look for HISTORY…. I can’t find that.

Something screwy is happening with WordPress. Whole pictures, links and paragraphs are missing and I never called for that !

Can you point out the page on that site that you are having trouble with? It sounds like you are trying to restore an earlier version of the page so can you describe what I should see on that page vs. what I am seeing now?
If you can tell us more about the content you are trying to restore to, it will help us to search for it in your revision history, thanks!

On the page ‘Johnny had some wild times’, There is some block missing about Dave Yorko’s history and some links. I managed to add the pics that were featured in Rolling Stone magazine. How do I send you a couple screenshots ?

There is some block missing about Dave Yorko’s history and some links.
Can you tell us a little more about that content? The page already has a lot of images and text on it, which makes scanning the revisions difficult. With this in mind please let us know if there is some specific text we can search for. Do you recall a line or two about what you typed but can no longer find?
Also, when was the last time you saw that missing content? Just before you started editing the page today?

You have screenshots of the missing content? To share a screenshot with us, you can upload it to the Media Library on your site, and then copy the image URL. You can see a video of how to do this here: https://d.pr/v/Fcnerp

I had a look at your revisions for that post, and it looks like the missing content was deleted at this point:

You can restore that revision, but then any changes you’ve made since then will be lost.
Alternatively you can copy the red-highlighted content (that’s what was removed), and paste it into the current version, but you’ll need to do that in HTML mode, which can be a bit tricky. As it doesn’t look like you did a ton of edits, I’d suggest just restore that revision, and then re-do any additional tweaks you’ve made over the past few hours.

I miss the old method. When I click on the old method, it only ‘half’ goes back to it. I just tried to revise by your suggestion but nothing happened. So much has gone.
Lucky it was only on one page…so far.
I have hundreds and hundreds of views. The rock and rollers from the 50’s & 60’s won’t be happy to see this site disappear. More training will be needed, on my part, before I try to do another thing here.
