My site is down

  Why is my site not even showing when I google it. If I click on any of the links, it says my link is broken…. Why does this happen? And when will it come back? I’m on Shaw and there is nothing wrong with this connection

  Are you still experiencing problems with your blog? Because I just tried accessing it, both directly and through a google search, and I was able to access it correctly…

  Thanks for your replies. I checked again after 5 minutes and it was up. Just got a little freaked out as I thought perhaps I lost over 100 pages of my site! Yipes….

  For your peace of mind, let me suggest that you make a new free private blog, then export your blog to that “test” site.
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/export/
  That way you’ll have a backup if something should happen to your “real” blog.
  Bonus is that you can use it to experiment with different themes with the actual content of your blog. You may be on not interested in trying out how your blog would look in different themes…

  Or you could use an offline editor to make your posts, then you would have your files safely stored on your computer (and its backups).

  Great suggestion. I was thinking of changing the theme but too scared too as I have so many pages and it would be disaster if it didn’t work as I don’t have the time to fuss with it as I do have a full time job…. Thanks…..
