My Site is Down
-
My site appears to be down and is showing a ‘privacy error.’ How can this be fixed?
-
Sure. It is CDIA.US
When I use Google Chrome to get there, it gives me a privacy warning and will not show me the site. It says:
Your connection is not private

Hi –
Thanks for the tag on this one, arvindsinghu.
This is an easy fix, which is the good news. The business plan that you had set up with WordPress.com (also included your domain mapping to us) and that has expired as of 2019-01-10.
Once your plan is re instated, and the mapping is connected that message will go away in the browser. There’s no active SSL certificate at the moment which is the problem.

To ad the plan back you’ll want to go to https://wordpress.com/pricing/ and choose the business option.

So, you were right about one thing, I needed to pay my WordPress bill. I did not realize that. However, it has not fixed the problem. At least yet. I renewed my business account about 4 hours ago and am still getting the privacy errors. It blocks me completely when trying to access my site from Google Chrome. I can get there and navigate in Explorer, but I am blocked from accessing tools like plugins, etc… from both browsers.

Hi @stoney33, the domain needed to be re-mapped as well. Now that that’s done, you’ll need for the SSL certificate to be re-issued; please give that a few hours.
If you need more help, please reach out directly at http://wordpress.com/help/contact — you get live chat support with your plan. Cheers!
