my site is down and the domain has expired

    My client was hosting with BluDomain and he did not renew his domain , so the dashboard and FTP with them for his account is locked and I cannot access the WordPress files and I did not retained a copy of them, Is there a way that you may be able to access the files, since it was a simple oxygen template with no more than 6 pages? BluDomain has not responded for almost 2 weeks of my posts.
    Please advise what may be able to be done by you on our behalf.

    I do not see any sites under your @softmack151217 WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/sites.

    Is it possible you created your site under a different login with us or are using another provider like GoDaddy, Bluehost, Hostgator, etc. instead? What is the URL of the site you are needing help with?

    Happy to check in our system so we can take a closer look.

    Hey Jerry:
    I thought I had a WP account back in 2010 when I was in college, I created a
    website Functional Art & Design on michaelsofie.com, but my old credentials
    from 2015 don’t work.
    I found a couple of WP trial sites under jazzoid password way back in 2011,
    but cannot login.
    I created the WP website in question on Blu Domain, millcreekconstruction.us
    maybe this may help you track it down.
    I discovered some WinZip backup files in a folder that may be enough for us
    to transfer hosting to GoDaddy.
    Please let me know if it is discoverable.

    It looks like neither michaelsofie.com nor millcreekconstruction.us were sites hosted on WordPress.com, and it looks like both domains may have been registered with GoDaddy.

    You mention Blu Domain — do you perhaps mean Bluehost? If yes, you may want to reach out to their support.

    Otherwise, do you happen to know the site address(es) for you WordPress.com site?

    I have been trying to get support from Blu Domain since January 22nd with no help. They sold the millcreekconstruction.us Domain when it was not renewed. The domain was registered with them and now all access of the dashboard or through FTP is denied.
    Since I seem to have the files, I am going to work with GoDaddy to transfer hosting to them and resurrect the website there. It was longshot trying to see if anything was out there at WordPress.com. Thanks for your advice, I will follow some other leads. Thanks

    WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely independent platforms. If you hosted your site elsewhere, your content wouldn’t be on WordPress.com, unless you specifically imported it here.

    Hopefully, GoDaddy can help you with your issue. Folks at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ can also be able to advise. Good luck!
