My site is down – It appears to be a domain error

    Hello, I tried to access my blog, but apparently it is down. When trying to access, it shows me the following message:

    ‘Something unexpected happened while accessing this website. It looks like it doesn’t have an active domain connection upgrade to link the requested domain name to the WordPress.com site.

    If this is your domain name and it has recently stopped working, it’s possible that your plan or domain may have expired. Please log in to your WordPress.com account and review the status of your plan and domain.’

    Can you help me?

    Hi there:

    You would only see that message if you had a domain using WordPress.com nameservers without having a paid plan that would allow you to use that domain as your primary domain here at WordPress.com.

    Can you let us know what domain name you’re trying to use on your site – which can be found at its free URL https://blogpipeucombr.wordpress.com/ – and once we have that information we’ll be better able to advise.

    Hello. In fact, I was already using a private domain, which was purchased on WordPress (I pay for WordPress every month with a credit card). My domain is https://blog.pipeu.com.br/ – I’m from Brazil. But now I can no longer access that domain. My website only appears when I use the free WordPress.com domain – https://blogpipeucombr.wordpress.com/.

    What do I have to do to access the domain https://blog.pipeu.com.br/ again?

    How do I pay for the domain https://blog.pipeu.com.br/ ? According to what I checked in my WordPress dashboard, in July there was no charge on my card.

    Hi there,

    From what I can see you last renewed your Business Plan (and included domain connection) on 6/10/2022, which you can confirm here: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing/

    However I do not see a renewal in July, and can confirm that your Business Plan (and included domain connection) has expired due as there was no payment by the expiry date.

    The good news is that you can upgrade to our Pro Plan (which is functionally similar) and this will allow you to reconnect your domain and recover any content (from backup) that may have been lost when the original plan expired.
