My site is down – Why? How? HELP

    I have had the same site up for 7 or so years. The other day, I saw it took me to a generic world press site with no trace of my site or content. I have not had a web master in years. I assume it’s bc I haven’t updated scripts or anything of the sort in waaay too long. But now…where do I start?

    Hi there,

    The WordPress.com account you’re using to post here only owns one site with us, coloradobodywisdomblog.wordpress.com. That site was created 5 years ago, and has never been modified since its initial creation. So that’s obviously not the site you’re speaking of.

    If the site you’re looking for is hosted with us on WordPress.com, it belongs to a different username account. If you don’t remember the login details for the correct account, please follow our account recovery process at https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/ so we can help you regain access.

    Otherwise you’re most likely speaking of a site using the open source WordPress software at another hosting provider. If you tell us the address of the site we can help you figure out who that hosting provider is, but we have no access to or control over sites not hosted on our servers, so we won’t be able to help you any more than that in that case.
