  My site is gone because siteground didnt back it up… is there any other way to locate a backup?

  Hi,
  
  Did you have a Jetpack Backup subscription plan in place for the website? If not, then only your own web hosting provider could help you with backing up your site, as WordPress.com does not store backups unless you’ve purchased a Jetpack plan subscription for your self-hosted site.
  
  In case neither of these applies to you, sadly there is no way to restore your website.
