My site is invisible in search engine
-
Hello,
I created a site http://www.vacancesfinlande.com using WordPress and this site is invisible in all search engine. People have to type the full address, by only typing ‘Vacances Finlande’ they will find all other sites but not mine ?!?! Any hints on what to do to improve my visibility on Google, Mozilla Firefox…
I do not have any idea which blog I should mentioned hereunder: vacancesfinlande.wordpress.com or vacancesfinlandeblog.wordpress.com ???
Thank you and best regards,
Pascal MarieThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello Pascal,
The first thing I’d like to let you know is that your URLs are the following:
– vacancesfinlandeblog.wordpress.com which redirects to http://www.vacancesfinlande.comThe other website you mentioned, vacancesfinlande.wordpress.com, leads to a different website. I don’t know if you own also vacancesfinlande.wordpress.com, however the content of this one is different.
As for the search engines, please make sure that you’ve granted access to search engines to index your website.
From your Dashboard, go to Settings>Reading. On the fifth option, Site Visibility, check the entry that says ‘Allow search engines to index this site’. Then validate your changes by hitting the blue Save Changes button at the bottom left of the page. Please also note that if your website is quite fresh – or if you’ve just granted access to search engines – the indexing process can take up to 8 weeks to be completed. Before that time there’s no guarantee that your website can appear on Search Engine Result Pages (SERPs).
If the problem persists after the 8 weeks, please get in touch with the Staff so to double check that everything is running correctly.
I hope this is all clear. Let me know if you have any further question. Cheers!

Hello,
Thank you for the answers and step to check the access status. Everything was already checked and set as you mentioned, I just need to wait more weeks !
Good to know the correct URLs, thanks.
Let’s keep in touch if no improvement during next month.
Best regards,

You’re very welcome, Pascal :)
If the settings are up correctly it’s only a matter of being patient a little bit.As a side ‘trick’, search engines are more triggered when compelling content are published with consistency. So keep up with your good work and search engines will eventually do theirs ;)
Cheers!
