My site is no longer mapped to my WP account and I can’t get it back.
-
I accessed my site, sparrowsworld.com, through wordpress on 12/22/22 using my username: TheSparrowinherworld. A happiness engineer helped me resolve a ‘user ID Mismatch’ user error. I confirmed that I could edit posts again and closed down my computer. Last night, I went to work on my site, and I can no longer access it from my WP account. I tried to remap it, wrongly, and accidently set up this free site, , which I don’t want. How can I get back to Sparrowsworld.com through WP? I tried remapping the domain, but it wouldn’t let me, saying that it was already mapped to a WP account.
THen, how can I ditch the unwanted sparrowsdotworld.wordpress.com?WP.com: Yes
Jetpack: No
Correct account: YesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

Hi there,
I do not see the site sparrowsworld.com under your @thesparrowinherworld WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/sites/
Is it possible you set up this site under a different login? I can confirm thatsparrowsworld.com is registered at WordPress.com but is under a different account and not your @thesparrowinherworld login. I do see that you were an admin on the site previously but it appears that you were removed from the site.
Is this a case where you have access to the site under another account with us but have forgotten how to log in? Or was the site set up by someone else who gave you access? At the moment your account does not appear to be connected to the site so if you have access to the admin (or the admin account itself) then please try to re-add @thesparrowinherworld as an admin, which will restore your @thesparrowinherworld login access to the site.

Thank you for trying to help. One of the Happiness Engineers worked with me and got my accounts associated again! We can close (and perhaps delete) this post.
