  cant do any customization- something is not right here?

  Hey there, the site you mentioned isn’t hosted here. Can you check in with your theme’s support to see what they recommend? Some newer themes don’t use Customize.

  Going forward, these forums are primarily for sites that use our free-tier hosting. We’re a little different from the WordPress software itself:

  even if i try to install a theme- it fails and says contact support-

  OK, I’ve got your requests merged.

  Again, the site you mentioned is not using our services. It uses the free software, which we also use, but we are separate from them. It’s a lot like the difference between a recipe and a restaurant. We can only directly help with sites we host:

  For what it’s worth, though, customize is currently only supported by some themes, so can you contact your theme’s support first? Then if you need help going forward, try https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ — you’ll need to create an account there.
