My site is not displaying properly.
I rec’d this email from a reader: “I don’t know whether it’s just me or if everyone else experiencing issues with your website. It looks like some of the written text on your posts are running off the screen. “
I had a problem w/ the formatting when WordPress began the transition to the new format. In fact, the problem was so severe and persistent I stopped creating posts in the new format altogether. I had to keep reformatting endlessly. I am hoping you will leave the dashboard in place as is. I believe this is related, however, I suspect the problem is on your end.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I’m happy to help troubleshoot this. However, I’m going to need a bit more information to help. Currently, the site is appearing correctly on my side in Safari, Chrome, and Firefox. Are you experiencing this issue on your side or is this the only report?
If possible, I would love to have the following information:
- Browser version where this is occuring
- If this is happening only on specific posts or the homepage as well
- A screenshot of the issue:
I appreciate your help collecting some additional info!

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly! You guys are the best. In answer to your questions:
1. and 3. I use Firefox, and cannot see the problem, so I cannot provide a screen shot.
So far there have been no other reports than the email I mentioned. I don’t know what browser yourdomain.com was using. Is that even a WordPress site? May just be a random vendor.
2. Only Bio was specifically mentioned.
As I said, I did experience a similar problem while using the new Posts page.
Do you know if the dashboard is being retained? That is a real concern to me — not only because of the constant reformatting the new layout demanded when I last used it to create posts, but also because I like to get an overview of my posts (publish dates included). I will frequently draft posts and schedule weeks or months into the future.

I’m not seeing the issue with the Bio page as of right now. If you notice this happening again, please do let us know!
Regarding the Dashboard, we have no plans of removing your Dashboard here:

Hopefully, as we continue to update aspects of WordPress.com, we’ll up the features there to compete with the Dashboard though. Your feedback is much appreciated along the way!
