My site is not working.

When I go to my site I am getting this message.

Fatal error: Switch statements may only contain one default clause in /nfs/c03/h07/mnt/57638/domains/blog.arinya.com/html/wp-content/themes/Nemesis-v1-5/nemesis/lib/shortcode.lib.php on line 1032

When I log into WordPress.com I get this page.

You don’t have any WordPress sites yet.

I have no idea what to do.

  • Hi there,

I checked your site and it appears you’re in the wrong forum. Although your site is connected to WordPress.com via Jetpack, it is using the open-source WordPress.org software and you need to seek help at these forums:

    https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack/

These forums are for WordPress.com hosted sites only. Since we do not have access to self-hosted WordPress.org sites, we are unable to provide any direct assistance to your issue. I would also reach out to your site host for help.

If you want to know more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org you can read this document:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

    Thanks!

I have not had to update my website in year but I’m pretty sure I used to go through this site to edit my site.

    Hello,

Your site is showing that it is being hosted by Media Temple, and not WordPress.com.

  • You used to have that site connected to your WordPress.com account via the Jetpack plugin. That connection let you manage the site content and certain settings from the WordPress.com interface.

But we have no control over your site itself.

And in this case, that error message indicates this is a problem with the Nemesis theme you have installed, so it’s best to contact support for that theme directly for help with this, as this looks like a bug they’ll need to fix.

The WordPress.org forums can only help you with issues regarding the WordPress software itself. They don’t have control over how your theme works, so won’t be able to help either in this case.
