my site is showing 2.8gb used when there is nothing on it.

  i have built a new site and added pages and media etc and noticed the message ‘Looks like you have used 2.8 GB of your 3.0 GB upload limit (92%). Since you are close to your limit, you might want to consider purchasing a WordPress.com Premium plan.’
  worried about this I have deleted media/pages/almost the entire site but this hasn’t changed the message. I did try to import media from another site. How do I start again from fresh please? i haven’t added any photos yet and it looks like there’s no space.

  You can very easy empty your site yourself, see instructions at https://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/

  it looks like the counter on your site was stuck, but it should be working correctly now. Can you refresh and have a look?
