my site is totally messed up…pls help!

hi all, I worked all day yesterday with a designer and the site looked great when he was done…several hours later the site “crashed” for lack of better word. Does anyone out there want to take a look? One of the pages, the “about” page is perfectly fine — http://www.everythinginorder.wordpress.com/about but when you log onto the main site, it is totally screwed up — see main site at http://www.everythinginorder.wordpress.com
If someone can figure out this mystery, I’ll be forever in your debt. A major, online social media guru is going to be pointing her 10,000 people audience to my site and I’m panicking about finding solution for this! <where is the emoticon for crying woman?>

Okay, it’s not totally messed up. All the individual posts look fine (click on the headers) and so do your older post pages. There’s something affecting the CSS coding on the front page though. I’ve had a look and I can’t immediately see what. Had you made a new post when the appearance changed? It would be worth checking that your most recent posts don’t have any incomplete html which can mess things up. Otherwise, you’ll need to contact the person who did your coding for you.

hello, this is the person who did the code speaking. I have looked through the css and nothing has changed that I can see from yesterday when everything about the site was working fine. The weirdest thing i notice is that the main page section has moved way up to sit against the bottom of the header. any idea how that could happen?

also all the whole right side column is completely gone, my guess is that it is getting pushed up with the rest of the page section.

cool got it fixed thanks to your suggestion. it was indeed something left in a post that screwed everything up. thanks for the help!
